Marvel's Avengers has finally arrived and it is equal parts fun/engaging and a buggy mess prone to crashing. We attempted to play through some of the co-op last night and, after nearly an hour, we finally managed to get all the way through a mission without the game crashing or some other bug cropping up. So... success?
Star Wars Battlefront 2 may almost be almost be three years old, but the game is still going strong. Yesterday to celebrate the unofficial Star Wars holiday (or possibly official?) May the 4th, EA had the game on sale for just $6. And while it's back up to a price of $16 dollars today, it's still a steal with a ton of content to play and enjoy.
Streets of Rage 4 is out today, the first true Streets game in 26 years. You can read our review of Streets of Rage 4 right here, needless to say, we've been thrilled. Last night Mike and Nick jumped into the two player co-op online action taking the game for a spin in Arcade, Boss Rush and even Battle modes.
Sometimes it's the simple things that derive the most pleasure, like that of allowing players to rename their characters to something absurd in games. Fort Triumph, a new tactical game from developer CookieByte Entertainment offers so much more though than just randomly generated and edited names.
Last night's Twitch Stream had Locke and Nick taking on the family friendly co-op game called Biped, and somehow made the entire stream very family unfriendly. The game puts players into the legs of a pair of robots as they traverse environments and timing puzzles together. Sounds easy in practice, but the game requires careful coordination and patience as we quickly learned.
Locke and Nick take have take to the stars to live out their dream of moving out of the basement and into their own place. Unfortunately they couldn't afford a classy space apartment and instead have to deal with an infestation of dirty aliens while remembering to provide all the comforts of life - like a microwave.
We finally decided to see what all the hub-bub was about with Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, the online action rpg from Wolcen studio. It's been topping the Steam charts for the past few weeks, scratching everyone's Diablo itch, but could it live up to our expectations?
