As the days grow warmer and the evenings longer, having more games to play with family and friends is important. Thankfully, Games With Gold has provided Xbox Live Gold members with another free co-op title in 2017’s Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. The game is available  for Xbox One for the 30 days from May 16th to June 15th. Unfortunately, Warhammer is also the only co-op title making its way to May’s Games With Gold, as the other titles featured are V Rally 4, The Sensible World of Soccer and Overlord.

Officially released last June on the PC and a couple months later on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Neocore Games' action-RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, has gone through two seasons of free content that added new enemies, increased power/level caps, and opened up new subsectors to play. Through all of this, the developers have been gathering feedback and working on a much larger update to bring a number of quality of life (QoL) changes to the game.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr has been out for a month now on the PC and will be out on consoles soon (more on that in a bit). Yesterday, developer Neocore Game dropped an update that adds a new mode, called "Warzone," to the title and it is intended to give endgame players a way to get better gear and new skills (that can be used in the mode). It kind of looks like a mix between a "Survival" mode and Rifts from Diablo III.

After a brief delay, Neocore Games' Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr has finally arrived on the PC (next month for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). We took the game for a spin last fall when it was still in Early Access, and it's definitely progressed quite a bit since then. Neocore and BigBen have announced that the release of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 has been delayed. The game, previously scheduled to release alongside the PC version on June 5, will now release later on July 5. The PC version is still scheduled for the previously mentioned release date next Tuesday.

Neocore Games' Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr now has an official release date. The game will be officially released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 11, 2018.

Just a couple weeks ago, Neocore Games' latest action-RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, dropped onto Steam Early Access. Since then, our usual Co-Opticrew has been poking around a bit to see what's going on in there, and last night, we streamed (eventually) some of it.

Neocore Games' action RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, is now available via Steam Early Access. The Hungarian developer has some rather lofty goals in sight with this one, such as an "open world" that changes based on the (randomly generated) missions you accept and the choices you make during them.

Neocore Games has shifted from the fantastic gothic setting of The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing for the grim-dark sci-fi setting of Warhammer 40k with Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. This game will be an action-RPG like their previous series, but they've got some bigger goals for this one, as their latest video explains.

Most of the Warhammer 40k games to date have focused on the bigger units within that universe; your Space Marines, Chaos demons, Ork war boyz, and the like. Neocore Games' Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, though, wants to be sure they also include those smaller "horde" types, like the mischievous Nurglings.

Developer Neocore Games - best known for the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series of games - has shown off a little more of their next title, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. The game is set within the Caligari Sector of the Warhammer 40k universe and it will feature specific co-op missions that will have an affect on the rest of the sector.
