After what was called an "indefinite delay," Watch Dogs: Legion co-op mode is now available on PC alongside the already release co-op mode available on consoles. Alongside of this is the release of the Tactical Ops Missions, raid-like scenarios are bigger and more challenging end game activities that Ubisoft suggests only groups of four or more take on.
In a recent financial discussion, Ubisoft announced that their 2019 titles - The Division 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint - both underperformed. As a result, Ubisoft is reevaluating the development time needed for their upcoming games, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch_Dogs Legion. Unfortunately, this means both titles will be delayed to Fiscal Year “2020-21.”
Ubisoft’s upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion released a new trailer during this year’s Gamescom in which they expanded upon their “play as anyone” mechanic. The video (available below) explains how the characters throughout the world will change the gameplay as different people will have different abilities or skills, meaning the player will be able to pick recruits that compliment their playstyle. Furthermore, certain recruitable people may have inhibitors, meaning players may also need to be wary of the setbacks their recruits carry.
While many of us were off celebrating this 4th of July, Ubisoft was dropping free updates for Watch Dogs 2 to make the co-op even better. With the "Party Mode" update, you can now team up with up to three other friends to go all hack-tivist around San Francisco.
While some new Watch Dogs 2 DLC (both paid and free) arrives later this month, bringing with it some new features like a PvP mode and a new Dedsec operation, it's Ubisoft's future plan for added content in which we're interested. Specifically, upping the online co-op player count from two to four.
We're a week away from the console debut of Watch Dogs 2, and Ubisoft took to their blog last Wednesday to lay out their plans for all that post-launch content. If you pick up the Season Pass, you'll get all three of the planned DLC packages and a couple customization options that will let you change up Marcus' look.
Watch Dogs 2 will be available (on the consoles, at least) in just a couple weeks. The minimum and recommended specs for the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 are out there now. The good news is that the recommended specs aren't that intensive, so most folks who have a fairly recent computer will be in good shape. The bad news is you'll have to wait a couple weeks after the console version hits the market.

Who here's ready to once again assume the mantle of a morally ambiguous hacker with a chip on their shoulder? The new DLC, "Bad Blood" is out for Watch_Dogs on September 30th, adding real, genuine co-op gameplay to the open world game, or if you're a season pass holder, you can get it immediately. Sure, Watch_Dogs came out about four months ago, but heck, co-op may be a game changer.
Fans of Watch_Dogs who wanted some co-op action have had to get their fix via a companion app for mobile devices. Luckily, the new Bad Blood DLC aims to change that by introducing full-fledged co-op gameplay, as well as an entirely new story to the mix.
There's one big game out this week for co-op fans, which sadly, doesn't seem to utilize it's potential for co-op. Overall it's going to be a quiet few weeks as E3 gears up and winds down.
