In order to get everybody pumped for the February 21st release for Earth Defense Force 2025, D3 Studios has put out a launch trailer / news report / recruitment ad.
This is the kind of wacky fun this game is all about. Black and white footage with old orchestra sci-fi music, and a "I swear I'm not Godzilla" walking around? Yeah, sign me up, Sarge. I'm here to kill whatever's got more than two legs and holds a wicked grudge against people.
Talk about a truckload of info. Here we see different enemy types, demonstrations of classes and their abilities, and also two men allegedly locked in a push-up battle. While we are getting some gameplay from the trailer, there are also new screens (down below) demonstrating some of the interface.
The cast is assembled and the stage is set to defend Earth once again. Are you going to pick up a minigun and stand with your fellow EDF'ers, or are you going to cower behind the steel curtain cast by real heroes?
