More "pre" than you can shake a stick at in that title. The UK-based gaming retailer 2game is making a push into the popular digital game space and with it comes a few nice and rare deals not found anywhere else - in particular Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel gets a 20% off coupon for the PC digital edition (activates on Steam).
Quick rundown on some of the deals available (all noticeably 2K Games published titles):
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for $47.99 after coupon BLPS-12USD
- NBA 2K15 for $44.99 after coupon NBA-25OFF
- Civilization Beyond Earth for $39.99 after coupon CIVBE-20OFF
Note that the coupon/price above are for US residents only. Those in the UK/EU will have to resort to the 20% off coupon: 20OFF-RELAUNCH which will slash prices off depending on your region's price for the game.
With the 3rd episode of "The Making of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel" released earlier today, Gearbox showcased some of the vault hunters skills and back story (cue Wilhelm which is now a playable character). The series continues to offer one of the best co-op experience available, and it's expected this latest installment will continue the trend.
Pre-ordering The Pre-Sequel includes the "Shock Drop Slaughter Pit" DLC as an additional bonus. While the DLC description is light, you can safely assume it's similar to other arena maps from Borderlands 2, where rounds of enemies will spawn for your group to mow down.
For those that missed out on the news, the Season Pass for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was also announced earlier this month, clocking in $30 list price for 4 DLC packs. We suspect The Pre-Sequel will continue the Borderlands tradition of upgrade packs and DLCs out the wazoo - though that's not necessarily a bad thing as they've all been quality additions.
