Hack Into 10 Minutes of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Co-Op Play

When bullets don't do the trick, there's always mind magic!

Sony mixed things up at E3 this year by snagging the next Call of Duty announcement for their show conference closer. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 rocketted on scene with some of that crazy future tech poached from the cybernetic fingers of Advanced Warfare. If the stage demo wasn't quite enough for all of you fans of soldiers with robotic appendages, the fine folks down at CoD HQ released a post-E3 video containing most of the playable mission at Sony's booth. Luckily for us, it demonstrates the four player online co-op the entire time!

Get ready for a bunch of war-scorched rubble.

I could have sworn the "Black Ops" soldiers were supposed to tunnel behind enemy lines and cut power lines and / or throats with at least some semblance of stealth. These guys aren't even pretending anymore. They're just slapping on robot arms and demolishing an entire city block for giggles. These guys aren't exactly incognito.

I guess there is something "Black Ops-y" about using your own crazy cyberbrain to hack into enemy soldier's minds and overload their bodies until they burst into flames, right?

Your cyborg warrior has three specific Cyber Cores to swap from, which are really just loadouts for your abilities. Having to switch around settings in your brain would probably create some really gnarly side-effects, but you've just gotta be able to swap between active camo and an ability only called "Immolation."

The four player co-op looks pretty slick here. You and your buddies take charge of these cybernetically enhanced super soldiers and smoke tons of baddies in the standard CoD shattered city environments. Each of your teammates possesses the same cyber-brain hacking abilities as the single player character, so you can both blast fools with automatic weapons and wipe baddies' memories just like the first player.

We'll see what other crazy, cyber-brain hacking fun Black Ops 3 offers later this year, when it launches on November 6th.
