Warhammer: Vermintide 2 received a, as the developer puts it, “small” patch last week in the form of the 2.4 update. The update, viewable in full here, brings better collision detection to Enchanter’s Lair, fixes locations where players can get stuck on both Old Haunts and Enchanter’s Lair, and some general fixes to the camera and characters all around to provide a more seamless experience. Finally, the post ends by introducing the basic sorting functionality that is looking to be built upon in the game going forward, so players with hefty inventories will be able to keep it manageable while killing the horrors that plague the lands. Check out the full list of updates below.
While this update is simply intended to fix bugs rather than add new content, the developer stated recently in their April 3rd news post that they are working on the next season of content and intending to talk about it soon. This constant stream of updates and content has been a great way of keeping the community involved as the team has expanded to new consoles, added new maps, fixed bugs, and added content requested by fans. Finally, if you’re the type of warrior who is always ready to take to the front, there is a double XP weekend for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 happening right now until Monday, 4/27/2020, which you can check out here.
