It's rarely a happy occasion when a highly anticipated game gets pushed back, which has just happened with Fatshark's Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The sci-fi-themed cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was already pushed back once before. This cloud has a silver lining, however: Darktide finally has a concrete release date. It will be coming to Xbox Series S|X and Steam this September, for reals!
Darktide is the sci-fi follow-up to Vermintide 2, a co-op game that my gaming group still enjoys. Official game details:

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a multiplayer-focused game in which players complete challenging missions while battling hordes of enemies in a far-future sci-fi setting. It will support 4-player online co-op when it arrives on Steam and Xbox Series S|X on Tuesday, September 13 of this year.
