We're enjoying a Ghostbusters renaissance nowadays, with new movies on the horizon and multiple fresh video games to play. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed has some spooky co-op features, and now virtual reality platforms are getting in on the action as well. Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord from nDreams and Sony arrived on Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2 a short while ago, and it looks like an extremely immersive way to bust ghosts with friends.

Interestingly, the Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2 versions each have exclusive features. On Meta Quest 3, you get an augmented reality mode called Mini-Puft Mayhem. It uses the Meta Quest's live camera feed to let players hunt mini Stay Puft ghosts in their own home environment! As for PlayStation VR2, it uses the platform's unique hardware features: 4K HDR display, Eye Tracking, Headset feedback, Haptic feedback, and Adaptive triggers.
Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord supports 4-player online co-op and cross-play between all versions of the game. It sells for $34.99 on Meta Quest and PlayStation VR2. The "Full Containment Edition" costs $54.99 and adds 4 Equipment Skins, 10 Additional Character Costumes, the Slimer Hunt feature and collectible, and Additional Bonus Content.
