Every Co-op Game Revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024

The showcase revealed dozens of games, and some of them have co-op.

This year's Xbox Games Showcase was light on cooperative content; Microsoft didn't seem to focus on co-op features in any of the game reveals. Still, the showcase did show some genuinely hot games, so we can't complain too much. Some of the games shown might even end up featuring co-op that hasn't been announced yet. In the meantime, let's look at all of the games that were announced and which ones we know will have co-op.

Co-op Games at the Xbox Games Showcase

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
  • State of Decay 3
  • Fallout 76 "Skyline Valley" expansion coming on June 12, play as a ghoul in 2025
  • World of Warcraft "The War Within" expansion coming to PC on August 26
  • Sea of Thieves Season 13 coming on July 25

  • Age of Mythology Retold coming to Xbox and PC on September 4
  • Diablo IV "Vessel of Hatred" expansion coming on October 8

  • Elder Scrolls Online "Gold Road" expansion coming on June 18
  • Mecha Break coming in 2024, beta in August 2024 (This battle royale game might not really be co-op, but the store page lists the feature.)
  • Gears of War E-Day

Non-Cooperative Games at the Xbox Games Showcase

  2. Dragon Age: The Veilguard

  7. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn
  8. Perfect Dark (Could end up being co-op)
  9. Life Is Strange: Double Exposure
  10. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  11. Fable (Could end up being co-op)
  12. Winter Burrow
  13. MixTape
  14. Flight Simulator 2024
  15. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
  16. Avowed
  17. Atomfall

Wrap-up

11-ish co-op games out of 30 games shown, several of which are existing MMOs, is not as many as we'd hope for. Then again, Xbox has historically been lacking in big-name single-player games, and the console will definitely be getting some of those in 2024 and 2025. I'm psyched for Indiana Jones; that's for sure. On the co-op front, let's hope that Perfect Dark and/or Fable end up getting some of the sweet co-op action that we all crave. Time will tell.
