TMNT: Splintered Fate for Switch Will Feature Local Co-op, Also Heading to Steam

TMNT fans will get to team up both locally and online in this upcoming roguelite.

TMNT games nearly always feature co-op, and the best of them have both local and online co-op to boot. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate for Switch was initially announced as only having online co-op, but Super Evil Megacorp, the developer, has finally revealed that the game will have 4-player local co-op too! What's more, Splintered Fate will be heading to Steam after the July release of the Switch version.

TMNT: Splintered Fate is a top-down action roguelite in the style of Hades. In this game, the Turtles must fight to rescue Splinter, who has been kidnapped by the Foot Clan.

Features:

  • Roguelike action game!- Fast, visceral and exciting combat puts you in the middle of Turtle brawls
  • No two runs are the same- Randomized power-ups, room layouts, and boss modifiers for gnarly fun!
  • Play your favorite Turtle- Take control of all four Turtles, each with unique powers and abilities
  • Unite the Brothers- Bodacious co-op gameplay with up to four players
  • Travel through iconic TMNT NYC locations- Starting in the sewers and ending in an epic rooftop battle!
  • Upgrade your Turtle Powers- Unlock and level-up your powers to become a master ninja
  • Defeat your enemies- Face off against a host of classic TMNT foes and factions

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate will arrive on Switch on Wednesday, July 17. It will cost $29.99. The Steam version will arrive later in 2024.

In other TMNT news, TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants launched a few months ago, and TMNT: Mutants Unleashed is coming in the fourth quarter of this year.
