Funko Fusion Arrives on Consoles and PC, but Co-op Isn't Ready Yet

The promised co-op feature will arrive in a few months.

The popular Funko Pops toyline finally has a full game to call its own. Funko Fusion, from 10:10 Games and Skybound Games, has arrived on consoles and Steam. The third-person action game features over 60 playable Funko Pop characters and levels taken from more than 20 franchises. Surprisingly, however, the co-op multiplayer that was promised back in May is nowhere to be seen. As it turns out, co-op will arrive in November through an update.

Funko Fusion features:

Select, unlock, and play with 60 plus unique playable characters from more than 20 fan-favorite franchises, all lovingly recreated in Funko Pop! form.

Each character has their own weapons and special moves, and some characters have unique skills for solving puzzles and finding secrets.

Explore your favorite franchises in video game form, relive memorable moments, and play through a unique story that ties them all together!

Shoot, blast, and whack enemies in ranged and melee combat. Craft gadgets and items to give yourself an advantage or to unlock hidden areas.

While the absence of co-op (or any form of multiplayer) is a shame, a Steam announcement reveals that co-op is still coming. It will arrive in November. More new content is planned for October and November as well, so the game will continue to grow.

Even without co-op at launch, Funko Fusion still looks like a fun time for Pop enthusiasts. Players will play as many of their favorite characters while fighting to thwart Eddy Funko, an original villain voiced by Clancy Brown (Highlander, Superman: The Animated Series). Additionally, players can unlock the playable Colonel Sanders character and a mecha skin for him via a special promotion at KFC restaurants.

To redeem KFC Chef Colonel or KFC Mecha:

  1. Sign up for free or sign in to your existing Rewards account at https://www.kfc.com/login 

  2. In the rewards section, click “Redeem” to claim your reward (KFC Chef Colonel or KFC Mecha Colonel). 

  3. Receive a unique code on your KFC Rewards registered email.

  4. Enter the code on www.funkofusion.com/redeem and follow instructions to unlock your limited-edition Colonel outfits in Funko Fusion.
