Streets of Rage and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 came out for iPhones and iPod Touches earlier this year - and while both games helped you relive the classic Sega Genesis titles - they were missing one key piece - co-op.
Today Sega has released free updates for both games allowing two player co-op play in each title via a bluetooth connection. Sonic 2 allows one player to control Sonic while another controls Tails through the entire game. Streets of Rage allows players to control Axel, Blaze or Adam through the entire game as well.
Sonic 2 will set you back $6 while Streets of Rage is a steal at $2.99.
