After Disney Universe landed with a thud instead of a bang (at least as far as co-op is concerned), it falls on Kinect Disneyland Adventures to represent the awesomeness of Disney co-op this season. Coming from UK programming house Frontier Developments (makers of Kinectimals), Disneyland Adventures seeks to both recreate a real Disney theme park and keep pairs of young gamers off the couch and having fun.
How’s it looking so far? The launch trailer showcases some pretty impressive cel-shaded graphics and several cooperative minigames. The full game will include more than ten two-player activities in total, including:
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters
- Haunted Mansion
- It's a Small World
- Jungle Cruise
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Matterhorn Bobsleds
- Peter Pan's Flight
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Space Mountain
- Splash Mountain
Kinect Disneyland Adventures opens its doors on Tuesday, November 15. It supports 2-player local-cop and surprisingly requires the Kinect peripheral. We’ll have a full co-op review soon!
