When we first received word at Co-Optimus HQ that the next Mass Effect game would have co-op, we were thirlled. After all, it's a feature we'd been teased with for the second game, and its cancellation/denial left us... well, let's just say yening for such a possibility to become true. Since the confirmation that Mass Effect 3 would, in fact, support co-op play in a separate adventure where each player could choose, and customize, his or her own character, we've been getting some details here and there about what it will and won't do. However, we have yet to see a lot of it in action...
Until now...
The "Special Forces" trailer highlights the different playable races and classes and shows off a little cooperative action as players lure foes into a trap where another player lies in wait, or players provide cover fire and serve as distractions so other can achieve objectives. Nick's hands-on impressions of the game certainly left me eager to play the game as soon as possible, and this trailer has me researching new forms of time travel to try and make March get here even quicker.
Co-Op Community Opinion: What do you all think? Are you excited for Mass Effect 3's co-op mode? What race/class will you play?
