After much speculation, after a lengthy beta, after almost 12 years...hell will be unleashed again. Diablo 3 is coming to retailers and Battle.net on May 15th, Blizzard have announced today. The action RPG is part of a series that is one of the most popular and longest played co-op series of all time.
"After many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, we’re now in the homestretch," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15."
Diablo 3 will feature four player online co-op where players can choose from five different character classes. You can see our coverage of the Beta right here including our impressions of the character classes.
