NEOGEO Station Chugging Onto Playstation Network

The NEOGEO system was quite popular in arcades in the 1990s.  Though renowned for a slew of great fighting games like Samurai Showdown and King of Fighters, some excellent co-op titles were available on the platform as well.  Later this month, NEOGEO Station is coming to the Playstation Network, bringing classic NEOGEO titles to your console or handheld.

God Eater Burst Dated and Detailed

God Eater Burst hasn't exactly been the game on North American co-op gamers minds. After taking a look at some very Monster Hunter-esque gameplay, complete with 4 player local co-op or Ad-hoc online co-op - perhaps it should be. Our Weekend in Gaming - Holy $#!% they are Playing World of Warcraft Edition

Some of the Co-Optimus staff have succumbed to the Cataclysm.  World of Warcraft veteran Mike has sucked Marc and Nick into the "Skinner Box" with him.  This could be bad, really really bad - at least - if we knew what a skinner box was.  Good thing the rest of the staff has a sane head with Red Dead, Black Ops, and other AAA titles around.  And one lucky staff member is hitting up LA for the Spike TV VGAs - so keep and eye on the site for coverage.

Killing Floor Wishes You A Very 'Twisted Christmas'

It's that time of year... when you're getting pretty sick of all the holiday cheer.  Why not take out your frustrations on the whole "glad tidings" bit with some good old fashioned zombie killing?  Killing Floor is bringing its players the "Twisted Christmas" event, starting December 14 and running through January 4.  All of the normal zombies and other enemies will be replaced by holiday themed specimens, and there's even a brand new level: Santa's Evil Lair.  (I suppose we all knew deep down inside that those elves were a bit diabolical.)  If that isn't enough for you, there are new achievements, including 13 Christmas themed ones, taking the total up over 130!

Harms Way is the Co-Op Friendly Unlock Xbox Finalist

The Doritos-sponsored Unlock Xbox indie game contest has been narrowed down to two finalists, and one of them has co-op. Harms Way is a racing game where you actually compete in cooperative teams of two - one drives and the other utilizes sniper turrets on the track to take out bridges, open shortcuts, and obliterate the other racers. It looks like good fun, playable in four-player splitscreen or online.
