Dynasty Warriors 7 has been announced for the for a Spring of 2011 release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 through most of the world, while the game is exclusive to the PS3 in Japan. The title will mark the first time the game moves past the Battle of Wuzhang Plains. The game will be adding a fourth faction, the Jin Kingdom. So to answer your question, yes, it sounds like you'll be doing the Yellow Turban Rebellion...again.
Twisted Pixel has announced the sequel to the excellent 'Splosion Man. Titled simply "Ms. 'Splosion Man," part two of the 'Splosion Man saga will be arriving next fall. The original frenetic platformer supported 4 player co-op, both online and locally. No details on the co-op yet (UPDATE: See below) for the sequel, but here's hoping they don't take a step backwards in that department. There's a sequel in the works to last years hit Ghostbusters game, but it's not what you think. While that game, developed by Terminal reality, was a full retail AAA release, the game's sequel will instead be a downloadable title developed by Wanako Games. Wanako is perhaps most famous for their excellent co-op topdown shooter Assault Heroes.
It was July that we saw the return of the DLC for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 after it has mysteriously disappeared earlier in the year. LittleBIGPlanet is one of the greatest games of this console generation. Though the co-op was solid, it was eclipsed by the sheer magnitude of creation options available to the user. I myself spent hours playing all the different levels made by other people, though I never did finish the actual campaign with my kids. The upcoming sequel, LittleBIGPlanet 2, looks to crank the already robust creation tools up to eleven.
We were giddy with delight earlier this year when we brought you the news of X-Men: The Arcade Game's release on modern consoles. Though we still don't have an exact release date, the initial time frame indicated a late 2010 release.
