The latest entry in the God Eater franchise, God Eater 3, is something of a departure from the previous games. Bandai Namco changed the developer - Shift was responsible for the first two titles and Marvelous Inc, who worked on Soul Sacrifice, was brought on for this one - in order to "bring in a breath of fresh air" and rework many of the systems that they felt had become overly complex. The result is, in my opinion, the best God Eater game to date and the one that is the most approachable for newcomers (if you're ok with some anime).

Ubisoft's latest venture, The Division 2, is right around the corner.  A free open beta will be available from March 1st through the 4th, and the full release is scheduled for March 15th.  Despite that, there are still plenty of folks hankerin' for a taste of what the game itself will be like.

Open the floodgates!  Starting today, Rocket League players from each and every platform can become friends with each other, join each other's clubs, and (most importantly) party up together!

The first big update for QC Games' Breach hits today and adds a whole new map, a new boss to fight, a new character to play (a healer, yay!), and some new foes to fight in the Tokyo map. Alongside this update, the game is also getting a price drop for the "base" package; the $25 Founder's Pack is going away in favor of the $10 Early Access Pass, and that's a good asking price, IMO.

Another day, another character expansion for a LEGO game.  This time around, we'll be discussing LEGO DC Super-Villains, a slightly new take on the LEGO franchise that came out late last year.

The Nintendo Switch version of Digital Extreme’s Warframe received the Fortuna update recently after being out on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC for the past few months. The update comes with a trailer (available below) and adds a new open-world area, a new faction to befriend, new enemies to fight, and some cool hoverboarding.

The Elder Scrolls Online may have been out for a while, in fact it's something we checked out back in 2015, but recent updates and new expansion called Elsweyr has made us re-evaluate our interests in Bethesda's co-op heavy MMO.

A certain Bethesda multiplayer game has taken a tenuous hold on the Co-Opticrew this weekend (no, not that one, the better one).  By all accounts, Elder Scrolls Online has held up pretty well in the years since its 2014 launch.  This bodes well for Bioware, another titan of the single player RPG space, as they dip their own toe into the multiplayer space in a scant seven days.  We'll find out soon if it can attain a similar longevity.

Earlier this week, Hi-Rez Studios released patch 6.1 for their third-person MOBA, SMITE. While there are a number of tweaks and fixes and other updates in this patch, the biggest feature is making the game cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms where the game is available: PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
