Details about this are foggy, but the mere concept of you and a buddy taking on the WWE is a bit exciting. Also interesting is the new "Hot Tag" system, which IGN has discussed. To be brief, the Hot Tag system is a video game counterpart to the intense sequence when a guy is beat to heck and barely gets the tag to his partner, who proceeds to level his opponents. From what IGN has said, this is a handy feature that, just like in real (fake, WWE) wrestling, is not guaranteed. Looks like wrestling fans, myself included, have a reason to be happy.

Shacknews reports that a demo for the recently released (and reviewed) Army of Two will be available next week. The demo will be exclusive to XBox Live Marketplace. If you were waiting for a price drop, or on the fence about the game, well, now you can try before you buy. You can grab the demo beginning on April 1.
Why was multiplayer cut from PROTOTYPE? Tim Bennison: From its inception PROTOTYPE was planned first and foremost as a single player open-world/action game. Naturally, with Alex’s genetically mutated shape-shifting abilities, we started to explore what would happen if he were to sub-divide into two PROTOTYPEs and what kind of multiplayer gameplay we could create around that concept. We’ve been looking at this potential multiplayer idea much more closely as PROTOTYPE’s development has been progressing, and while it’s a great concept and gameplay bonus, our conclusion is that we won’t be able to pull it off with the same level of quality and polish that we’re aiming for with the original single player story.

XBLAH reports that the Japanese Xbox.com page for Ikaruga was unveiled early, and the date for the game's release is April 9.
