UK developer Parallel Circles got some good news this week. Their forthcoming action platformer, Flat Heroes, got Greenlit on Steam! That's good news for us, too, as the game features a co-op mode that up to four players can enjoy.
Microsoft recently announced their August line-up for their Xbox Live Games with Gold program. Out of the four games (two for 360, two for One), two of them have co-op: Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and Spelunky.
If you're still playing Rainbow 6 Siege, then we've got some good news for you. The next round of DLC, "Operation Skull Rain," arrives for all platforms next Tuesday, August 2. It will feature two new operators for you to use in any mode, which hopefully means you'll be checking them out in co-op.

Well, stuff me with flies and call me Nurgle. They finally did it. Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide has a release date for its console ports. Now, I'm no game developer, and as such, have absolutely no clue how difficult it is to herd all those virtual Skaven to their new homes. Overcooked aims to condense that experience into a four player local co-op adventure in which you and three friends ascend from "The Barney Fife of Kitchens" to "Culinary Michael Jordan".
Rusto Games is bringing their top-down robot shooter, Spareware, to a PC near you. The title was released for the Xbox One this past March and the Finnish developer has been working to port it over to Windows, OS X, and Linux platforms. The PC version will be out this fall, with the OS X and Linux versions to follow.
I have largely avoided the Monster Hunter games as the thought of diving into a series that is known for its unique learning curve and (at times) outdated mechanics never appealed to me. That part of my brain that enjoys obsessive loot-gathering, though, has always been intrigued by this style of game. While it may suffer from problems of its own, ...
Ah, hello there, human! Welcome to the world! If you see anything you'd like to do, please feel free to give it a try. Oh, you want to push buttons? Go right ahead. Opening doors? Yeah, you can do that too, I guess. Throwing rocks through windows, bending bars with levers, crashing through walls with catapults? Um, maybe we should talk about so...
Originally a single-player only title, the Ukranian devs at Whale Rock Games have recently added local co-op to We Are The Dwarves. The game follows the adventures of three Dwarven astronauts who are searching for a new power source as their stars are dying.
