Eyebrow raising outfits not standard

Battle as the Gods Themselves with SMITE on PS4

Last year we checked out a MOBA by the name of SMITE, a game that allows up to five players take on groups of AI-controlled bots in a few different modes. We played it for a little bit and did some silly stuff. The title was a PC and Xbox One release only for some time, but the PS Blog has broken news that it will be coming to the PlayStation 4 soon enough.

New DLC will be based on three Sega games

DLC for DARIUSBURST: CS Dated, New DLC Announced

Around this time last month we heard there would be some DLC on the way for widescreen, side-scrolling, giant fish ship shooter DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours. The new content, which is still unnamed at this point, would include three levels and ships based around three classic Taito games: RayForce, Night Striker, and Metal Black. All of this should be making its way to PC and PlayStation 4 around March 17.

Our Weekend In Gaming: Fire And Disease Shall Flood The Land

The Co-Opticrew is getting real dangerous this weekend.  Not only are we delving back into poorly lit underground chambers (as we have each weekend for about a month), we're also taking on two of humanity's greatest threats:  fire and disease.  In all honesty, both are pretty well contained, with the former to the Wyoming wilderness and the latter to New York City, but that certainly isn't stopping us.  You point out a (virtual) pocket of danger that needs to be (artificially) dealt with, and we're there lickety split (metaphorically speaking, that is.  I mean, we usually get around to it in a timely manner).

Who knew there was another Monaco campaign?

F.A.L.C.O. Beats Zonaco; Discovers Monaco Fin Campaign

Last Friday, the Friday Awesomely Live Co-Op crew finished off Zonaco and suddenly felt an overwhelming feeling of emptiness as we realized we'd finished Monaco. Then our friend Bakken Hood pointed out that there's another campaign that goes by the name of Fin. That's "Fin" as in the French word meaning "The End," not "Finn," the handsome new hero of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Although, a Monaco campaign based on a Storm Trooper gone rogue, releasing a Resistance fighter from captivity, and escaping from a Star Destroyer together would be pretty bad-ass.

Sometimes the best inspiration is right outside your door

Indie-Ana Co-Op and the Wild Eight Interview

Life experiences are often at core of a developer's inspirations for making a particular video game. When Shigeru Miyamoto started gardening, he was inspired to make Pikmin. For the development team at 8 Points, their everyday lives surviving in the cold wilderness Yakutia has been one of the primary sources of inspiration for their first ...
