We recently were detailed Halo 5: Guardian's four player co-op mode,  sadly as we learned it's the first Halo shooter that won't have couch co-op game play. Instead the game is going back to a split perspective campaign approach similar to Halo 2. Players will drop into the shoes of two main characters - Master Chief and John Locke, who by each of their sides have three Spartans or soldiers. Now straight out of E3 we have a ton of new content to see what that looks like.

Return to the world of gravely voiced marines with chainsaws on their guns in Gears of War 4! That's probably not the official PR release announcement for the new Gears game, but maybe it should be? Teased during Microsoft's press conference on Monday, there will be a new saga with new characters coming late next year.

Go ahead and admit it, you've missed that do-rag. Well get ready for its glorious return in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, coming to Xbox One on August 25. This is a remastering of the original Gears of War only, and graphical fidelity aside, most of the improvements are to the multiplayer side of things.

With how frequent the most recent Nintendo Directs have been, there wasn't a great deal left to surprise us at Nintendo's E3 presentation.  However, we did get a glimpse at a new four-player co-op game set in the Metroid universe.  Metroid Prime: Federation Force gives players a chance to hop into their fanciest mech suits and bring justice(?) and prosperity(?) to a hostile(?) universe.

It's not all gritty, tooth and nail PvP combat in Star Wars Battlefront. The galaxy far, far away is fraught with peril, and sometimes you need a buddy to blast your way out of trouble. Sony's press conference showed footage of exactly what you and your pal can do against wave after wave of those iconic stormtroopers who are fed up with a pair of rebels.

The audience attending Ubisoft's E3 press conference learned a few valuable lessons from Tom Clancy's The Division today. Despite being awash in some pre-scripted game chatter from the players, we saw just how south a mission can go when you turn guns on newly acquired allies out of greed. They also learned that having Christmas lights up during the apocalypse is considered in poor taste.

Amidst all of the reveals and hype yesterday, we somehow let slip past us the fact that Dark Souls 3 was officially announced. Much rumored to be in development, the game got its proper announcement trailer debut and it seems to hint at a return to locations familiar to any fan of the previous Souls games.

Right in the middle of Ubisoft's E3 conference, somewhere between Aisha Tyler's meme jokes and new South Park footage, we learned that The Crew is getting its first full expansion.  Dubbed "Wild Run", it'll be diving into the more niche areas of car culture by introducing new events and vehicle types.  As is apparently tradition at this year's E3, it'll be coming out this November, specifically the 17th.

While some of the info has been leaked here and there, the next Destiny expansion has officially been revealed this evening at Sony's E3 Press Conference. Titled "The Taken King," the expansion will take players to what appears to be Jupiter, give them new gear, and new sub-classes for all the heroes.
