Straight out of Gamescom 2014, Ubisoft has released a fresh new trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity and a handful of screenshots. The assets certainly showcase a beautiful game, with 19th century Paris recreated in stunning detail. While the screenshots certainly look pretty enough, it's when you see the game in motion that you truly appreciate everything that's happening in the brand new game engine.
Tropico 5 has been out for sometime on PC, but console fans have been made to wait. Time is almost upon us with news that the game is due out on Xbox 360 in November. As well as receiving the full 4 player co-op game, you will also get the 'Big Cheese' DLC - an extra which allows you to create a dictatorship based on dairy products.
Announced during the Gamescom 2014 event, players will soon be able sharing gameplay with others in multiple ways via an upcoming PS4 update. A new app called Share Play will allow players to do a couple of cool things regarding co-op, as well as for broadcasting gameplay footage.
Golden Axe. It's a classic beat'em up and one of my favorite games of all time. We might not see many games in that style anymore, but there's a few indie titles trying to revive a genre least seen. Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus is a modern day beat'em up with a throwback feel to games like Golden Axe. In fact, I'd say the game is so directly inspired by the series that it's almost satire on the game and genre.
Featuring more blood than a vampire's emergency food supply, the Dead Island 2 Sunshine & Slaughter Trailer shows off a welcome amount of zombie annihilation and mayhem gameplay, just in time for Gamescom.
Last night the crew streamed the early access version of Tango Fiesta, a twin stick shooter where "wacky, frenetic, comical, over-the-top, cheese-fuelled action of your favourite 80’s action movies becomes reality." We checked out the game, developed by Split Milk Studios, in three player online co-op.
Wednesdays don't get a lot of love. Sure, it might be the halfway point in the work week, and Happy Hour might last for an extra hour, but in reality it is merely the predecessor to Thursday, which is empirically the most awful day of the week. Crytek is looking to change the hum-drum mediocrity that is Hump Day with Warface Wednesday...
The second episode in "The Making of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel" series has been released by Gearbox on Youtube. New gameplay footage of the new moon environment and combat mechanics show off a bunch of what fans of the series will be dying to try out come this fall. In Borderlands 1, you see a giant moon hanging above in the sky,...
Up until now, Bungie was going back and forth between whether or not we'd be able to keep our beta-created Destiny characters when the retail version releases. Sadly, they recently announced that they will be deleting them after all.
Slap in your Hall & Oates mix tape and grab a can of Jolt Cola; we're going back in time. Let's warp back to the 1980's, where the high fantasy beat-em-up was King, and you couldn't play a single game without running into loinclothed barbarians. Guiding us in our time traveling ventures is the three-player co-op brawler of yesteryear, Dungeons: The Eye of Draconus, out today on Steam.
The tale of several Ubisoft employees on a quest to understand the Himalayas continues! In order to provide a realistic setting for Far Cry 4, these three folks left their comfy cubicles and journeyed into the drastically foreign land of Nepal.
