Don't clown on this lesser-known co-op beat 'em up.

Ninja Clowns, From the Makers of Time Killers, Comes to iiRcade

iiRcade is a home arcade cabinet for which users can legally buy and download a variety of classic arcade games and modern indie games. Co-op kaiju battles coming soon to consoles and PC

WayForward Unleashes Dawn of the Monsters Details Ahead of March Release

WayForward, the studio behind River City Girls and the Shantae series, is teaming up with fellow indie developer, 13AM Games (makers of Runbow), on a monster-themed beat 'em up. Dawn of the Monsters looks like a spiritual successor to the classic Neo Geo series, King of the Monsters, and will feature 2-player local co-op. Kaiju fans won't have much longer to wait, thankfully, because Dawn of the Monsters is due to release on consoles and PC next month.

Elden Ring. Elden Ring? Elden Ring!

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for January 2022

For many the most important piece of news in January was the long-awaited announcement that Elden Ring has gone gold. It will hit store shelves on February 25 as planned (with a day one patch) and many will rejoice. There is of course a world beyond From Software games. Shocking, I know but it saw for example the Early Access release of The Anacrusis this month as well as the release of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction. Spelunky 2, on the other hand, finally hit Xbox consoles, while Deep Rock Galactic celebrated its PlayStation debut. PC gamers got the newly released Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem as well as the newest game from French strategy games developer Eugen Systems, called WARNO. Time for some good old comp-stomp action until the co-op campaign drops!

That's not COAL in my stocking!

Back 4 Blood Playthrough - Winter Wonderland Special

We continue our playthrough of Back 4 Blood. Making our way through the meaty campaign and Act 2 in some of the grossest looking set pieces we've seen to date. Counter balancing the guts and gore is a festive Christmas theme with sparkling lights, trees, outfits, and sprays. All of that topped off with what is quite possibly the best use of Christmas music in a game so far.
