Sniper Elite V2 Launch Trailer Features a Visual Anatomy Lesson

Do you fancy yourself a digital version of Simo Häyhä? Do you spend most of your FPS time behind a scope, obliterating any enemy soldiers foolish enough to come under your crosshairs? Then Sniper Elite V2 may be the game for you. The WWII title is a hybrid of third-person shooting and first-person sniping. Its big selling point (other than the online co-op modes) are the gory X-ray kills, because sometimes a fine red mist just isn't good enough. Check out the launch trailer to see what I mean.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection One Arrives On PC This Month

I know, I know. Most of you took your copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and threw them straight in the toilet as soon as that Black Ops 2 trailer hit last night. Never mind the fact that MW3 has a ridiculous amount of new content on the way. It's not just you. Take a look at the Call of Duty website. The current edition of the franchise has been reduced to a mere afterthought. Speaking of afterthougts, PC gamers are finally going to get MW3 DLC this month. Timely.

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet has been reduced to 800 MSPs

A Twisted Shadow Planet just got 'Insanely' Cheaper on XBLA

The weekly sales on PSN and XBLA are amongst the highlights of my gaming week.  What will appear this time; a selection of co-op friendly titles for next to nothing, or some overpriced DLC reduced to slightly less overpriced?  Admittedly some of the weekly sales are less emphatic than others, but do you know what is a bargain?  A game that is permanently reduced. This has just happened to Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, now yours for 800 Microsoft Points, or as I like to call it - the price that all download games should be in the first place.
