Summer is right around the corner, and with it comes a new batch of big budget movie sequels, re-boots, and their inevitable gaming tie-ins. Men In Black 3 is such a movie, and Men In Black: Alien Crisis is such game. We don't know too much about it, other than you'll be playing as Man-In-Black-in-training, Peter Delacouer, who I'm assuming will be named simply "P," if he makes the cut. Get it? It's a pee joke. High humor, indeed.
This weekend some of the Co-Optimus staff is hitting PAX East. Those of us left behind are playing a pastiche of games. We'll be doing some casual iPading, ambitious backlogging, vigorous Kinecting, lackadaisical vacationing, and "radiant historing," whatever that is.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II, the highly-anticipated sequel to Sonic 4, has a release date at last. And when I say that, I don’t mean just the XBLA and PSN versions have release dates. The PC and Windows Phone ports have them too! Even better news is that owners of both episodes will receive an extra-special bonus that harkens back to the days of Sonic & Knuckles. It's like Christmas in July.

Rebellion is the first standalone expansion for Sins of a Solar Empire (2008) and Stardock has released a trailer of epic proportions. It features the telling of a dark tale of usurping forces, oppressed armies, civil war, and some of the best space ships we have seen in a video game. Check out the trailer below.
The final three figures for Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure will be available in the near future. Camo, Warnado, and Wham Shell will complete the Life, Air, and Water elements, respectively. At last, my collection will be complete! Just kidding. I gave up on the idea of "collecting them all" when I saw the price go north of 15 bucks on Amazon. Fella's got to eat.
One of the more popular ways indie devs are getting their games out there in front of an ever growing audience of gamers is to team up with a few other developers (some might say they are cooperating) to offer their game as part of some form of bundle deal. GamersGate.com is offering their own indie game bundle, the IndieFort, starting today and going until next Friday, and in their bundle there's at least one cooperative game that caught our eye: Wanderlust: Rebirth.
Sometimes it's hard to find a good co-op partner. Work, school, family, friends, time zones, and work (I know I mentioned it twice) are always conspiring to hinder co-op play. What's an adventurous gamer to do? The makers of Torchlight 2 have a solution: bring a pet.
