Indie PC Title Wyv and Keep to Offer Co-Op Puzzle Platforming Fun, Details from Developer

As a fan of any indie co-op title that combines two of my most nostalgic loves (8-bit or 16-bit graphics and puzzle platformers), I've been keeping an eye on a jolly corpse's Wyv and Keep. Described as a "grid-based puzzle/action game starring two young treasure hunters", players control the titular heroes, Wyv (pronounced "wiv") and Keep, as they explore ancient ruins in search of loot and a way out. While the game's been in development for some time, the game has reached that level of development where the developer's are accepting preorders (for just $7.99) and are releasing a little more than just a handful of screen grabs... including a demonstration of the online co-op in action!

Unit 13 Online Pass Issues Highlight Digital Distribution Pitfalls

All day yesterday I was checking the PlayStation Network Store via my Vita, hoping to see a content update so I can download Unit 13, the latest co-op shooter from Zipper Interactive.  I'm on the review for the game, so time is crucial for me, as I want to get the most out of the experience.  To my disappointment the game wasn't available until almost 8:30PM Eastern last night, after which, I needed to wait almost two and a half hours for the 1.2GB game to download.   Sadly, these superfluous issues with time were only the beginning.

Three more Skylander characters have hit retail

Rod, Zook and Sunburn up Your Life with these New Skylander Characters

One of the phenomenons of 2011 was Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.  It sold like hot buns, if hot buns were made of plastic and found in toy shops.  Activision are on to another winner and this is one company that knows how to milk a cash cow, hence we have already been told about the upcoming Skylander Giants range, but we are also finding out about new characters being added to the original toys.   Please welcome; Lightening Rod, Zook and Sunburn.

Diabolical Pitch Coming to the Xbox LIVE Arcade in April

Diabolical Pitch is great awesome great.  Don't believe me?  Check out the header image.  What's it say?  "Great awesome great."  That's right.  Players pitch imaginary baseballs at an assorment of monsters to save the world, or escape a carnival, or rescue their girlfriend, or something.  Developer Grasshopper Manufacture hasn't divulged too much of the plot, not that it's really necessary.  Throw stuff, kill stuff, it's Diabolical Pitch!

Binary Domain Co-Op Review

Binary Domain came out a week ago with little fanfare. It features a rather forgettable name with some less than inspiring box art. With two small strikes already against it, I prepared myself for the arduous task of slugging through another generic sci-fi shooter. I should know better than to judge a game by its cover. Overall, It's quite good. Find out how good in our Co-Op Review.

Co-Op Spotlight: Mass Effect 3

Today's the day.  Today's the day Commander Sheppard and crew take back Earth.  Today's the day they need your help.  As a fan of a the Mass Effect franchise, possibly my favorite franchise of this generation, the suspense of picking up a copy of the sequel is killing me.  I want the story. I want the music.  I want the co-op. I want Mass Effect 3.

The download game All Zombies Must Die is planned for a 12th March release on Steam

All Zombies Must Die Shambles Onto Steam March 12th

A bold statement like All Zombies Must Die does not sit easily with me. What about the random zombie who appears to still have some sort of brain process, don't they deserve to live? What am I saying, of course these flesh eating, panic causing, stench releasing deadites need to die! PSN and XBLA owners have been doing just this since December last year and now Steam players will get the chance when All Zombies Must Die is released on the12th March.

Inversion Delayed Again... Again

Stop me if you've heard this before -- Inversion, Namco Bandai's gravity defying shooter, has been delayed. Again.  I'm not going to say this is a bad thing, but I'm going to go ahead and say this isn't good.  The game looks like it has a lot of potential.  Check out this trailer here.  Pretty badass, am I right?  Sure, the main character looks a little generic, but at least he's upside down.  That's got to count for something,  doesn't it?
