We've got a great contest kicking off today to celebrate one of our favorite games this fall - The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Trine 2 launched on the PC and Mac today, and we've got the fancy trailer to prove it. The game looks absolutely stunning. This follow-up to the excellent Trine has some big shoes to fill. Many members of the Co-Optimus staff loved the first game. We have high expectations for the puzzle platformer.
While we enjoyed the Resistance 3 campaign quite a bit, especially in two player co-op, we couldn't help but miss the co-op action that Resistance 2 provided in a more arcade like setting. Lucky for us, it seems Insomniac is on their way to somewhat remedying that with the latest batch of DLC.

We just recently found out that The Adventures of Tintin: The Game has a two person local co-op mode. The movie tie-in is a platformer with some other genres mixed in for good measure. We have a new video today where you can see some of the gameplay elements as well as the co-op mode in action. It looks kind of interesting and there seem to be multiple puzzle elements. You can even play as Tintin's dog, Snowy (Or Milou, si vous parlez français.)
