Two Sweet Twisted Metal Videos Showcasing Sweet Bot

In case you missed it, we got some hands-on time with the upcoming Twisted Metal reboot, nostalgically  titled Twisted Metal.  We were excited to see a vehicle transform into a walking death-bot.  We were doubly excited to hear that the game will have a cooperative campaign.  The following videos focus on the maniacal ice cream truck driver, Sweet Tooth.  Fans of the old games will be able to pick out the bizarrely distorted laugh that the character was known for.  You can also see some of the Capture the Leader and Boss elements mentioned in our preview.

New Video for Catherine Explains Everything You Need to Know About Relationships

Just what the heck is going on up there?  Oh, that's just some expertly cropped box art from Catherine, a new game coming out in July.  Let's see if we can deduce what this game is about from the above image.... We have some sheep... we have a little Japanese writing (shocker)... looks like some gender symbols... and there's something else... Hmm... A certain je ne sais quoi... That's French for "Dude trapped in giant boobies," right?  Because there's definitely a dude trapped in a giant pair of ta-tas up there.  Did I mention this game is on the Xbox 360 and PS3?  Because it is.  I've heard about games like this, but they're usually on the PC, the devil's gaming system.  Some of the bachelors on the Co-Optimus staff are insisting this game has co-op, but I don't really think they have a proper handle on the term.  Want to know more?  Simply read on for a pleasant video that explains exactly what this game is all about.  Protip: I'm lying.

All three version of Brink are on sale today at Amazon's website.  The 8 player co-op title is marked down by $20 making the console version a sweet $39.99 and the PC version $29.99.  I've personally been waiting to snag the 360 version of the game so I can join our community and their weekly playsessions.  We'll also be having an upcoming Xbox Live Co-Op night for the game in the coming weeks!

The Baconing Gets First Screens, Co-Op Info

Hothead Games have revealed the next game in the DeathSpank series and it's a sequel to DeathSpank and DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue called...The Baconing.  Dropping the DeathSpank prefix the game continues the adventures of DeathSpank as he tries on all 6 thongs at once (what? he was cold) which summons an evil power.  Since this is a mostly family friendly site, I'll withold the joke about thongs and summoning my evil power.  The only way to undo what DeathSpank started is to destroy 5 of the thongs in the fires of bacon.

New Video for The Cursed Crusade

The latest trailer for The Cursed Crusade gives us a little background on the main character, Denz de Bayle.  He's looking for his father, who was last seen following Richard the Lionheart off to war.  We also get to see his buddy Esteban, accent in full effect.  I'm going to guess that the grizzled man with the eye patch, beard, and silver hair is Denz's father.  He seems to be able to kick all sorts of ass.  The game has an obvious Assassin's Creed vibe with its medieval setting.  True, The Cursed Crusade doesn't have free running or an Animus, but it more than makes up for it with brutal combat and hinted trips to hell.  Oh, and it also has co-op.  So it's got that going for it, which is nice.

GamerVoices Has Excellent Maps for Hunted: the Demon's Forge

Does it kill you a little each night you go to bed knowing that you missed just a few collectibles on your first playthrough of Hunted? Or did you recently buy or rent a copy of the game and you want to be absolutely certain you get everything you want the first time through? Well worry not, obsessive gamer (it's okay, we all have our compulsions), there's a section over at GamerVoices Guides that has you covered! Each subchapter (e.g. 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, etc.) has a detailed map where points of interest are color-coded triangles. For example, dragon tears are green. The points for crystals, dragon tears, prisoners, and corpses can be clicked on. This brings up a nice screenshot with a short description on how one reaches the area in the screenshot. Pretty useful, no? Thanks for the tip llllepicllll!
