Everything old is new again on the Nintendo Switch. Seven years after it debuted on the Xbox Live Arcade (BRING IT BACK, MICROSOFT!), Ms. 'Splosion Man arrives on the Switch today so you and your buddies can blow each other up across 50 levels. Cue the 1812 Overture!
Indie developer Twisted Pixel have released a bundle of all of their arcade games for one price. Right now, available on Xbox Live Arcade, you can get the Twisted Pixel Bundle which includes The Maw, Comic Jumper and co-op games `Splosion Man and Ms Splosion Man for just 800 .
The winter sales are starting to heat up. This week you can pick up Ms. Splosion Man and Streets of Rage 2 for 50% off through the Xbox Live Marketplace. Ms. Splosion Man will cost you 400 MSP, or $5, and Streets of Rage 2 is going for 200 MSP, or $2.50. Both are great games that any co-op gamer will enjoy. Good news for all of the big Ms. Splosion Man fans out there. Right now you can download the game's silly soundtrack for the low-low-low price of el-zilcho. Simply head over to the Ms. Splosion Man site, click on the "Downloads" tab, and there it is. You'll be able to hear classics such as the "Ms. Splosion Man Theme," "Future City Party Time," "Factory Whale Slushee," and my personal favorite, "Ur The Best." It takes about five minutes to download, and then you can enjoy the soothing sounds of Ms. Splosion Man wherever you go. We even threw in the launch trailer at the end of this post so you could get a taste of the audio Eden that's about to assault your ear holes.
Ms. Splosion Man has been out for less than a week, but that's not stopping developer Twisted Pixel from coming up with additional content. According to Eurogamer.net, the Xbox 360's Title Managed Storage (TMS) feature allows developers to make small changes using the Xbox Live servers.
Never in my life did I ever think I’d hear three grown men complain about wanting a pair of shoes more than I heard during a co-op session of Ms. Splosion Man. The game takes the tried and true formula from the first Splosion Man title, adds a ton of polish to itself, and gives it a unique twist.
A few weeks ago we reported that Ms. Splosion Man would be out this July. We speculated (hoped) that the game would have the same price point of its predecessor, a cool 800 MSP ($10). We must have some good karma, because that's exactly how much it will cost. The platformer supports 4 player local and/or online co-op. If it's anything like the original 'Splosion Man, it should be a real treat. Ms. Splosion Man will release on the XBLA for 800 Microsoft Points on July 13th. Holy cow! That's next week!
Ms. Splosion Man will be 'sploding onto the XBLA digital shelves sooner than expected. According to the very pink header image of this article, the sequel to the superb 'Splosion Man will be 'sploding our faces off on July 13th. Have you ever seen a group of people so happy to have their hands 'sploded beyond recognition? Those are some sploding-ly dedicated scientists. As you can see in the photo above, four player 'sploding co-op is back, both locally and online. Ms. Splosion Man will improve upon the original 'sploding gameplay in multiple ways:
Twisted Pixel today announced the first of its kind - an open beta for an Xbox Live Arcade title. Registration for the Ms. Splosion Man early access program begins today and runs until all 10,000 spots are filled. The beta will run from June 6th through June 26th and will focus on the game's cooperative multiplayer levels.
