Sure, you could buy some co-op game for the PS3, Xbox 360, or (insert other generic console here), but c'mon! We both know the truth. We both know that what you really want is a game on a platform where you can tweak those graphics all the way to 11; a platform that holds no illusions about install times, patches, or updates. Indie adventure co-op game Hamilton's Great Adventure has finally gotten a release date for PSN: August 24th. Released on PC at the end of May, the game has been praised for its family-friendly gameplay and impressive level design as well as likened to an Indiana Jones type of puzzle game. Since the PC version only featured local 2-player co-op for protagonist Ernest Hamilton and his pet bird Sasha, it's likely the PSN version will only have local as well. Hamilton's is priced at $10 on PC, so hopefully the PSN version will be similarly priced.

Fatshark Games, makers of Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, have announced a brand new puzzle/platformer named Hamilton's Great Adventure.  As you can clearly see from the screenshot above, the game's main character Hamilton takes a lot of visual cues from Indiana Jones.  The gameplay should borrow from that sense of adventure and mix in a healthy dose of puzzle solving as well.
