Our Weekend In Gaming: Getting Lit

It's that time of the week again, folks.  The Co-Opticrew has cobbled together yet another set of plans to fill their gaming time for the next couple days.  Conveniently, temperatures are staying nice and toasty around these parts, so we have even more reason to stay indoors and enjoy the warm glow of LCD.

A Symphony Of Excellence

Streets of Rogue Co-op Review

Much like a favorite meal, it is difficult choosing where to begin with Streets of Rogue. There are so many good choices that selecting just one thing feels darn near impossible. Fortunately, it also gives you plenty of reasons to come back for more. In a market saturated with pixelated indie titles, Streets of Rogue stands out as a must-play solo ...

Undercrewed Is Now Available in Early Access

Last year, we got a brief glimpse at Undercrewed, an interesting co-op title that blends elements of FTL and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. At that time, David Strachan, the game's developer, was seeking funding for his Kickstarter (which was a success) to get enough money to help him finish development. Today, we all can enjoy the fruits of those efforts as the title arrives in Early Access!

All Dressed Up But No Place To Go

Woo-dy Wooden 67 Keys RGB Mechanical Keyboard Review

Let’s have a moment of transparency. I don’t write in a formal office nor do I play games in a special gaming room built and arranged for just such a purpose; both of these things can happen in coffee shops, at friends’ places, or, most often, at home. Knowing that my work, pleasure, and daily life may bleed into one another at any given moment has kept me aware of the aesthetic that my dedicated work/gaming/living space has, even when I’m not using it. To that end, Woo-dy delivers a sleek, very sharp-looking keyboard that adds a no-frills aesthetic to whatever area in which the work may be getting done.

Minecraft's New Character Creator Will Allow You To Be Your True Self

Minecraft may be experiencing a resurgence of sorts in pop culture, but that doesn't mean the developers ever stopped plugging along on updates for the game.  All sorts of new features, items, and biomes have been added over the years, and now, at long last, a character creator is on the way.

Great New Pre-Launch Trailer

New Ghost Recon Breakpoint Trailer Feat. Lil Wayne

Video game trailers that take a comedic approach can be hit or miss, but the new trailer for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint featuring Lil’ Wayne and directed by David Leitch (“Deadpool 2”) is a complete success. Not only does the trailer show off nothing but co-op action, but it pokes fun at the celebrity involved on a personal level, rather than just having him playing (or lack thereof) Breakpoint. You can check out the trailer below.
