To say that Six Days in Fallujah is somewhat controversial is an understatement. Considering the subject matter of the game, set in one of the worst periods of the war in Iraq, it isn't surprising that some find it questionable. The war is still going on, and political overtones from all sides tend to cause strong feelings about it. Is the world ready for a video game based on the Iraq war?

Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce really wants to get the co-op crowd playing together. An Xbox Live Gold offer gives us DLC pack 4 with three new missions added to the quest noticeboard, also available on the PSN for free. Having free DLC packs allow more gamers to play together without having them unload a significant amount of money on extra content. Especially handy since co-op buddies already have to buy two copies of the game for online only co-op. If you don't own Strikeforce, you should consider it - we liked it.
About a year ago, we heard about a new first person shooter in the vein of Hunter: The Reckoning on the Wii. It had something to do with Werewolves and co-op, but that news fell on the wayside when we got an update that told us that The Grinder was going to the Xbox 360 and PS3. Now, we can tell you for sure, you're getting two versions of Grinder available.
We've just gotten word that Snowblind Studios' upcoming 3-player RPG, LOTR: War in the North, will feature all sorts of co-op configurations, much to our great delight. We'd previously told you guys that the game would feature online co-op, but now it's also been verified that split-screen couch co-op will be supported as well! Even better, two players from the same console will be able to connect with a third player online, something I'm extremely excited about. Three networked consoles will be supported as well, if that tickles your fancy. Also, Snowblind announced that if your fellow co-op companions aren't available, the game will include a single-player campaign.
The Command and Conquer Tiberian saga is coming to a conclusion in C&C 4. The PC exclusive was built from the ground up for cooperative play, so you'll want to bring a friend through the campaign. But do the radical changes to the game make it better? Or merely piss off series veterans?
As a long time Crackdown fan, I absolutely crave every nugget of information for the sequel. But sometimes I see things or read things I wish I hadn't, the following three videos of Crackdown 2 fall into that category. Female playable characters will not be making an appearance in Ruffian Games' upcoming third-person shooter, Crackdown 2. This feels like a familiar story, as female models also didn't make the cut in the first Crackdown. What was the reason both times? Memory constraints. To incorporate different, female models and the animations that come along with them, other parts of the game would have to be scaled back. Ruffian Games didn't feel like what would be lost would be worth what could be gained.
