Nvizzio Creation's third-person action/tower-defense title, Eden Rising: Supremacy, will be making its way out of Early Access and into a full release next month. When it does, there will be two versions: the free-to-play "Explorer Edition," and the $25 "Ascendant Edition." The paid version does include four additional areas to explore and defend over the free version, along with some extra armor dyes and "Bestiary Mastery," but it also has a nice perk. Only one person needs to buy it for a group of friends to enjoy that that extra content.

We eagerly hopped into Hopoo's Risk of Rain 2 when it hit Early Access last month, and have been equally eager to hear what the developer's plans are for getting this thing to a full release. Today, Hopoo and Gearbox revealed the development roadmap of what will be added to the game and, roughly, when, leading up to the full release sometime next Spring.

Saints Row the Third may be an 8 year old game, but since that didn’t stop Skyrim from making its way to Nintendo’s most recent console, why should the Sixth Street Saints let it stop them? They shouldn’t and they won’t, so Saints Row the Third will come to Nintendo Switch May 11th. This will be the “Full Package” edition, which includes all of the DLC and all new “couch” co-op, which is something we here at Co-optimus are very excited about.

BioWare has been working to fix Anthem ever since its rocky launch a couple months ago, but the writing may now be on the wall for the third-person shooter. In a Reddit post on Tuesday, the Lead Producer and Head of Live Services wrote about the current state of the game with the release of the latest patch, which did add a new Stronghold and some needed QoL improvements, and also where things are headed. The short answer: nowhere fast.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas, Ubisoft's sci-fi action title, has been available on consoles since October of last year.  While it initially featured some optional toys-to-life elements, the developers recently confirmed that portion of the game is being discontinued.  Fortunately, though, that doesn't mean Starlink is done getting new content.  Not even close.

Saber Interactive's World War Z dropped onto PC and consoles last week, and this past Monday we took this third-person zombie shooter for a little spin. If you've been looking for a game that plays like Left 4 Dead but also brings its own little spin to it, then you're in for a treat.

Everybody's getting into the "classic games on a little box" game these days. Nintendo has the NES Classic and SNES Classic, Sega is releasing the Genesis Mini this Fall (we're waiting for the full list of games to be revealed so we know just how many co-op titles it will have), and last week, Capcom revealed that it's getting into the retro game market, too, with its "Capcom Home Arcade" console/controller.

Alas, after over a decade of uptime, Criterion Games has announced that they'll be shutting down the servers for Burnout Paradise later this year.  If you were planning on completing those last few challenges on your list or getting nostalgic with some friends, I'd recommend doing it soon.

Infected Shelter, the four player co-op brawler / roguelite-RPG is getting ready to hit early access on Steam in just a few short weeks. To celebrate the impending release the team has sent us an exclusive look at the game in motion with two player co-op gameplay.

Following the fire this week at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris France, Ubisoft have pledged 500,000 Euros to its rebuilding along with giving away Assassin's Creed Unity, a game set in Paris France during the 1700's.

The Co-Opticrew will be solving problems in a couple different ways this weekend.  Some of us are utilizing our thinkin' facilities and overcoming obstacles through the power of deduction.  Others, however, will be using their punchin' facilities and getting the job done through the power of... punchin'.  Whatever it takes, right?
