More Too Human Co-op Details

Too Human has been quite the popular game in the past few days. We've had an interview with Denis Dyack, some great screenshots, and a nice co-op vid. So, it's not suprising that other sites have their own impressions of the game. 1up has some wonderfully critical impressions, where they both lament the cut from 4 to 2-player co-op, but at the same time welcome the game's similarity to Diablo. IGN also details the game, saying:

Viva Pinata 2 Will Have Co-op

The first details and screenshots for Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise have been discovered by TeamXbox. The details on the game are very sparse, but what we know is that Viva Piñata 2 will have some form of co-op, so that you and a buddy (or your kid) can garden together in some manner. Other than that, there are no more details, though you hit the link you can see some screenshots. As a fan of the original Viva Piñata, I can say that online co-op does sound pretty nice. How about you?

Left 4 Dead Details Come to Life

A preview for the upcoming zombie title, Left 4 Dead, is available at TVG.  The game may seem to be the typical survival horror type, but several details are coming out that should pique the interest of co-op fans like a plate of brains would for a zombie.  The "4" referred to in the game's title refers to the 4 player co-op campaign.  Co-op is no afterthought or half-baked effort in this title; the story and gameplay were all developed from the ground up with four players in mind.  There is no true single player mode; bots will fill in for human players if less than 4 are available.  Replay value looks to be high, as well: the game's AI allows for enemies to spawn from different locations, in different numbers, and with different tactics each time a map is loaded.  No zombie closets here, folks.  Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the game is 8 man multiplayer, which is a nice blend of co-op and awesome:
