Fans of Flying Wild Hog's revamp of Shadow Warrior won't have to wait too much longer for the sequel, Shadow Warrior 2. The team has revealed that the title will be coming to PC on October 13, 2016.

During PAX West this past weekend, Gearbox Software unveiled one of the projects they've been working on for the past few months: Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour. Yep, they're bringing back the Duke.

It has been almost a year in the making. The last piece of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, "Salvation," arrives on the PlayStation 4 today and it includes the final chapter of the "Origins" zombie-killing crew, "Revelations."

We at Co-Optimus are a happy go lucky kind of bunch who like to see the best in everything, but even we could only give the plodding Homefront: The Revolution an average score.  However, rather than turn tail and run, Deep Silver have released a significant patch to try and improve matters.

During the summer, Nintendo unveiled a little something that's sure to be a big hit this holiday season, the NES Classic Edition. The "console" shaped like a classic NES would come preloaded with 30 titles from the olden days, like Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros 3, and include modern connection ports so you can hook it up to your TV and relive your youthful gaming days. Retro-Bit, who has been putting out emulation consoles that let you play your old cartridges, has recently announced a similar product, the Retro-Bit Generations.

Livelock is officially out on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. The three player co-op shooter is a fun and well polished title with some spiffy visuals to boot. Today we've got a really special giveaway courtesy of publisher Perfect World. 

If you live in the U.S., you've probably been looking forward to today for a few weeks as Monday is Labor Day, which means three-day weekend! In case you were wondering what shenanigans you might get into during the long break, the folks over at Humble Bundle have compiled a selection of Capcom games for the PlayStation 3 and 4, while Microsoft is featuring an "Activision Franchise Sale" for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

We've been hoping that the campaign wouldn't be the only co-op offering in Gears of War 4, and it looks like the Coalition will not be disappointing us. The developer released a new video yesterday that shows off some of the features of what they're calling "Horde 3.0."

The "Grim and the Grave" DLC for Total War: WARHAMMER dropped yesterday, bringing with it two new Legendary Lords for the Empire and Vampire Count factions, new units, and a handful of other goodies. Along with that new content, Creative Assembly released some more "free-LC" in the form of a Legendary Lord for the Vampire Counts: Vlad von Carstein.

Ah, September is finally here.  As marked by the release of the latest Madden iteration, game releases will soon start piling in, flooding our living rooms, and darkening our windows.  This time around, I think we're mostly ready for The Releasening, but to make sure that's the case, we're either dipping back into franchises we know and love or finishing up lingering reviews.

If you're anything like some of our staff, you wake up each day a little sad and think to yourself, "my life doesn't have enough mechs in it." Well, you'll only have to live that way for one more week as Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax is coming to the consoles next Friday!
