In the vast litany of video game history, zombies have wielded weapons both real and fictional. The brainless undead hordes from Dark Souls stagger around with enormous swords. Some jerk (Hitler) decked out an army of zombies with SS uniforms and tommy guns in Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombies. The most recent Call of Duty game even had them loaded with crazy future tech. But now, with Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, those infernal undead can finally unleash the power of the bipedal mech.

If you've waited to play any of the Gears of War games until the Ultimate Edition that was released this past August, you're in luck. Owners of the game on the Xbox One will receive "tokens" for all of the Gears games that have been released as part of the whole "backwards compatibility" push on the system.

At long last the list has arrived. Yesterday, Major Nelson posted on his blog the full list of 104 Xbox 360 titles that will be accessible via the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature that launches this Thursday, November 12.

Arrowhead's fourth title, Helldivers, will be arriving on your PC of choice next month. The game will include all previous DLC that has been released thus far, including the "Democracy Strikes Back" content from a couple weeks back. All of that content will still be free, though the additional character packs will cost you money, just as they did on the consoles.

We are a few weeks away from the Old Hunters DLC arriving for Bloodborne, but there's some more good news for all you hunters out there. The PlayStation Blog recently posted that a big update to the game will be arriving prior to the DLC's release. This update will add a new covenant (or oath) to the game that sounds like it will be more co-op focused.

Gearbox tweeted out yesterday that its new IP, Battleborn, won't be arriving now until May 3, pushing it back about three months from its original release date of February 9, 2016. That may be a good move on the developer's part to refine parts of the game.
