Every year now, with the release of a Call of Duty game, we get a brand new take on the zombies mode. Each one seems more elaborate than the last and each time I say to myself - why is this not sold as a stand alone game? This year's Call of Duty is no exception, with Black Ops 3 getting a full zombies mode set in the 1940s fim-noir era with characters voiced and likeness of  Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, Ron Perlman and Robert Picardo.

Just when you thought "Man that co-op bundle from Bundle Stars sure had a lot of great co-op games", the same people come along and even more things for you to buy and play. This bundle's got three things we love in our cooperative video games: ibbs, obbs, and zombies.

DMs (short for Dungeon Masters) usually get a bad rap, and rightfully so.  Despite the rise of the role's "storyteller" aspect, decades upon decades of hidden traps, surprisingly cunning kobolds, and stealth-tarrasques have taken their toll upon the legions of poor, vulnerable tabletop gamers.  Sword Coast Legends, the upcoming co-op RPG from Digital Extremes, does much to dissuade this notion.

The emotional masterpiece of a game we call Journey is coming to PS4s everywhere July 21st. Remastered and enhanced for the Playstation 4, Journey is a co-op game like none other. This may not be your first quest to the mysterious light atop the mountain, but an entire generation of new players can experience it with you for the very first time. From the sweeping and mysterious desert sands speckled with crumbling ruins, to the malignant clouds crackling with energy, you can relive the wordless saga once more.

Let's face it, the 500GB hard disk on the Xbox One was never enough space in the age of required installs and digital downloads. Even though Microsoft recently launched a 1TB edition of the console, many users will likely still be hitting the space wall in no time flat. Luckily Microsoft built in support for USB 3.0 external hard drives, allowing users to install games and have virtually "unlimited" storage.

Our normal Monday Night stream took a magical turn this week as the crew was finally reunited after what seemed like forever. With our wands held high we headed towards a game that would surely re-establish the bonds of brotherhood in Magicka 2. The sequel to the hit indie game that sold over 2 million copies on PC, Magicka 2 looks to make it a more approachable title than the first.

The journey has been long and winding for the Gauntlet franchise, but it appears its next destination is just on the horizon.  This summer, Arrowhead's reboot is making its way to the Playstation 4 via the brand new Gauntlet: Slayer Edition.  

Not even victory in the 4th Galactic War has earned the Helldivers a rest. The first and only bulwark against the armies who would do Super Earth, and democracy, harm, have refortified their forces and are ready for Round Five. Entitled "Masters of the Galaxy," the second DLC for Helldivers adds a few new twists in the embittered struggle for the defenders of Super Earth. And it's entirely free! You don't have to drop a dime. You may have had trouble with swarms of Bugs, legions of Cyborgs, or an entire cabal of the Illuminate, but they've been working on a few new additions to their team.

Okay, so you've just finished watching the Women's World Cup finale explode in goals, and now you think soccer/football can't get any crazier. Normally you'd be right, and after all, the Shrimpers are currently enjoying the off season. Not to worry! The folks down at Psyonix have somehow out-crazied us with Rocket League, a game about flying cars playing future-football and occasionally exploding into burning husks. Finally, your dream of nailing that sweet corner as a minivan and then bursting into flames can be realized! Best of all, it's out tomorrow for both PlayStation 4 and Steam for $19.99.

Mark July 2015 in your diary Dragon Age: Inquisition fans as this is the month that will allow you to move your PS3/360 save onto next generation platforms, but is also the month that Bioware announced that any new DLC for the game will not be coming to these platforms.

Fatshark's forthcoming co-op FPS, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, looks to be shaping up quite well as far as a game set in the Warhammer fantasy universe goes. In addition to the Witch Hunter, Dwarf, and Soldier characters previously shown off, the Bright Wizard (or flame mage) has been included in the list of playable heroes.
