Kirby and the Forgotten Land Co-op Review

Kirby has long been one of Nintendo and HAL Laboratory’s most versatile heroes, appearing in countless sequels and a number of genres over the years. Still, the mainline Kirby games have always been 2D or 2.5D affairs, which makes Kirby and the Forgotten Land for Switch all the more special. Not only does Kirby’s latest platformer featu...

Shoot 1UP DX Co-op Review

Way back in the Xbox 360 days, indie developer Mommy’s Best Games (maker of the co-op run and gun shooter, Serious Sam Double D XXL) released an Xbox Live Indie Game shoot ‘em up called Shoot 1UP. That game would later gain recognition as an Xbox Windows Phone title, though the phone game lacked multiplayer. Several years later, Shoot 1...

Improving my favorite headset

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX Review

Last year I reviewed the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 and called it "quality comfort." In fact I've reviewed a handful of other headsets since then and still go back to the Stealth 700s as my favorites. Turtle Beach is back with a minor update this year that includes several claimed improvements with battery life leading the charge. This is also the first fully cross gen version of this headset that covers just about any platform out there - which is an improvement all to itself.

Spinner and trackball support to iiRcade coming in the near future.

iiRcade Announces Accessory Support for All Cabinets

iiRcade is a home arcade platform for which users can buy individual games. One thing it has not been until now, though, is an arcade platform with support for trackballs and other devices. That will soon change, though, because iiRcade has just announce that accessory support will be coming to both existing iiRcade cabinets and the upcoming iiRcade Gold Edition cabinets. This should allow for a greater variety of classic arcade games to be offered on the platform.

No English release date just yet, but we're hopeful.

Earth Defense Force 6 Coming to Japan in August

It's ironic that a site that enjoys the Earth Defense Force series as much as we do hasn't covered the upcoming Earth Defense Force 6 until now. We've been busy, okay? D3 Publisher recently announced a Japanese release date for EDF 6, however, so it's time to start preparing. Earth Defense Force 6 will arrive on PlayStation 4 a...

Co-Op Monthly Round-Up for April 2022

It's finally time to unpack that boomstick and oil up the chainsaw again! On May 13th, the aptly named Evil Dead: The Game will finally hit store shelves. The first new Evil Dead release since 2005s Evil Dead: Regeneration (we don't count those lackluster mobile titles in between). We really can't wait to take on the Kandarian Demon with our friends. We may even stop playing Elden Ring for it.

The old House is new again but still filled with zombies.

The House of the Dead: Remake Co-op Review

The original House of the Dead arcade game is one of the titles for which Sega famously lost the source code, hence there were no further ports of the game after the Saturn and PC versions in 1998. Despite the first game’s limited availability, it would go on to spawn numerous sequels and even a terrible Uwe Boll film. Now, more than 20 years...
