The crazies behind Dark Souls II have announced a Dark Souls live action event in the form of this little teaser. There is going to be some sort of Dark Souls thing starring real-life people. I can see the casting auditions now. "Let's see your skills in action. How would you pull of, say, being stabbed to death by a horse-demon? Good, good. Okay. We've decided to keep the same format as last year, splitting up the votes between AAA titles and Indie titles across all platforms.
Once again it's time for the Co-Op Game of the Year awards. This is our sixth year for our awards, choosing the best cooperative game in the industry. (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012). Like last year we've split the voting between two categories this year - AAA Games and Indie games. Despite two new console releases, almost none of the new games have made our list of notable co-op games. It's a slight disappointment that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are no shows, but hopefully that changes next year.
Level Designer of Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine, Andy Nguyen, updated the game today with a brand new patch titled: "The Architect Patch". New streamlined campaign experiences being featured, as well as other new gameplay additions, perfect Pocketwatch Games' already very addictive co-op title.
We liked Ryse: Son of Rome a lot more than we expected, and while the co-op mode wasn't the deepest or most versatile, what it does it does well. It should come as no surprise, that as a first party title, the game is going to get a bunch of DLC to support the two player co-op gladiator mode.
