Fly swiftly on the wings of angels, old friend.

Battleforge is being Retired October 31st

Crack open an ice cold Old English and pour it directly onto the street. The MMORTS Battleforge is going offline permanently October 31st of this year. It's always a bummer every time an MMO closes its doors for good. No matter how many people still play in the end, there is an excellent chance that folks made allies and built friendships in game. Not to mention spending countless hours grinding for greater rewards that they will never see again.

Gamers looking forward to Killzone: Shadow Fall might be in for a surprise if they decide to go the digital route. The digital version of the PlayStation 4 launch title weighs in at about 50GB, but it’s not all bad news. The sheer size of the gameshows just how much detail is in it, with Sony’s Fergal Gara telling Eurogamer, &ldq...

Love/Hate the new Assassin's Creed 4 TV Spot

The Illustrated Trailer - Assassin's Creed 4

Ray Bradbury's The Illustrated Man is a fantastic slice of pulp science fiction that tells a series of short stories via the medium of tattoos.  Ubisoft has probably read the book if the latest TV Spot for Assassin's Creed 4 is anything to go by.  Look into these trailer tattoos, but turn away before it is too late.

Painkiller Hell and Damnation out now on Xbox 360 in North America

In one of the most secretive releases of all time, Painkiller Hell & Damnation is now available for purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace. I'm really not sure why Nordic Games thought it wise to slip the 360 release into North America while nobody was looking, especially since the DLC has been available since July. The game dropped for European consoles in June and has been available on PC (in all regions) since October of last year. Oddly enough, the title still isn't available on Amazon for purchase.

Can't wait for the new consoles before grabbing AC4? There's an offer for that.

AC4: Black Flag Gets Release Dates, Next-Gen Upgrade Offers

Jeez, is it seriously October already? For some of us, that might be great news as "October" means Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is releasing this month. For others, "October" might induce some panic, but rather than talking about that, let's discuss that AC4 release, shall we?

Enjoy the zoo, without that poop smell.

Hands On with Zoo Tycoon on the Xbox One

It feels weird for me to say, but the most visually impressive game we got to see on the Xbox One so far is Zoo Tycoon. That’s not a knock on the other Xbox One games, that’s simply a statement of how great Zoo Tycoon looks. Texture detail is crisp, realistic, and colorful. The character and animal models look incredibly lifelike and their animation is equally as impressive.
