There are many cultural differences between America and the UK.  You say tomato, I speak properly, but there is no need to call the whole thing off.  In fact, as a Brit I am willing to embrace any obscure US based phenomenon if it means more co-op gaming.  This is the case with World Gone Sour an upcoming local 2 player co-op based on the Sour Patch Kids IP I have never heard of.  The game is coming to PSN on the 10th April ($4.99) and XBLA on the 11th (400MSPs). When the folks at Xbox asked us to co-host a Mass Effect 3 co-op night, we couldn't refuse. This game has dominated my friends list all month, and I've heard it's co-op mode is exactly what everyone was hoping for. Mass Effect, plus friends. Sounds like a great formula for fun to me!

LightBox Interactive will be making the most out of their precious split screen real estate while trying to decrease the stretch of their aspect ratio. After playing the beta, I have to say that a full mini-map is a welcome sight. Anything would be better than the vaccuum of black space I've seen in other split screen layouts. I'm looking at you, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Fear 3, Lost Planet 2, and Resident Evil 5; the list goes on.

After months of patiently waiting for some sort of news of its Xbox 360 debut, Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson, Larry Hryb, has finally given us some form of relief and announced the long awaited Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition release date, also including a handful of other upcoming XBLA titles along with it.

Anarchy Reigns is picking up a sexy new character -- if you're into the whole sultry-librarian-witch-who-wears-a- bodysuit-made-out-of-her-own-hair-while-quad-wielding-pistols sort of thing. Then again, who isn't? While it's not exactly Bayonetta 2, Anarchy Reigns will allow players to step into the weave witch's ballistic heels while brawling with several other insanely unique (or uniquely insane) characters.

In February we reported on a rumor that Sony's popular LittleBigPlanet series would be receiving a kart racer spin-off. Co-Optimus would never steer you wrong, deer readers - Sony has now officially announced LittleBigPlanet Karting for Playstation 3. It will come from United Front Games, the makers of ModNation Racers. That revelation brings its own set of expectations and concerns, but I dare you not to be impressed by the new game's reveal trailer.

As I walked to the living room, and called for my faithful ten-year old sidekick to fire up the 360, it occurred to me that a friend had left his copy of Gears of War 3 at our house. I walked back to the kitchen, where super-Mom was dutifully preparing dinner. Grabbing her hand, I put a controller in it, and invited her to join us in some Horde mode. She protested a bit, but I insisted.

Chromehounds exiles should feel relief at last now that Armored Core V has made its way to stores. The latest Armored Core game integrates elements from the now-defunct multiplayer-oriented mech combat sim. Indeed, joining a clan is basically mandatory in Armored Core V and the entire game can now be played with online teammates. If the expanded co-op features don't get your interest, perhaps this launch trailer will.

Rumors of a game based The Boondock Saints have been trickling out for a couple months, and finally the game was annonced at the Boondock Saints Video Game panel during SXSW. Although no details have been given, it was being toted as “full on co-op shooter”, which makes us all quiver with excitement.

By my calculations, I haven't posted anything about Dark Souls in about 68 days. Amazing, I know. Luckily for me (and you) Facebook has given us something post-worthy. 21 hours ago the official Dark Souls page began teasing an announcement. There has already been rampant speculation concerning DLC or a PC port, both of which would be well received by the community.

Warren Spector, designer for Epic Mickey, admits that he didn’t make the first game as “epic” as he wanted it to, but Disney Interactive Studios next Mickey game in the works, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, will hopefully give him a chance to truly be epic, in every sense of the word.
