Fall of the Samurai, the expansion to Total War: Shogun 2, released earlier this week. What may have escaped your notice, however, is the huge patch that was applied on the same day. While it was considered a Fall of the Samurai patch, most of the changes/additions applied to the base Shogun 2 as well. Highlights include improved AI (and drastically reduced AI turn time) as well as a whopping 22 new battle maps! A large number of fixes and unit balance tweaks were rolled out as well.
I'm sensing a trend with our weekends. Command Shepard is a very busy person thanks to the Co-Opticrew. Last weekend's XP event for Mass Effect 3 was a large success, with over 3 million Brutes decimated in the game's four player co-op mode. It seems Bioware was so proud of the turnout, they decided to hold another event just in time for our Co-Op Night tonight on Xbox 360.
Co-Op mother fuuuu....errr....sorry. After watching the latest co-op trailer for Ghost Recon Future Soldier, one with commentary from the MEGA 64 folks, I suddenly feel a little more frat like. It's ok though, because it surely sounds like they are enjoying the four player co-op campaign offered by the game. If anything, the trailer reminds us just how much fun we can have playing co-op with our friends.
