South Park: Tenorman's Revenge Hits the XBLA This Friday

A new South Park game will be unleashed on the masses this week. South Park: Tenorman's Revenge features the familiar four versus an army of robot gingers in a side-scrolling platformer. The last South Park XBLA exclusive, Let's Go Tower Defense Play!, was a surprisingly good co-op game. Tenorman's Revenge is being developed by a different studio, but we're still hoping for a solid title. Judging by the video below, the gameplay looks simple and fun. That's all I really need in a platformer, so long as it's executed well.

With Days to Go, Serellan Hopes Takedown Will Make the Kickstarter Cut

It was a few weeks ago we told you about Takedown, a tactical shooter from a new studio called Serellan that was being crowd source funded via Kickstarter.  Sadly though, the project is only about halfway to its potential funding with five days to go.  With several other high profile titles doing very well with Kickstarter lately like Double Fine's Adventure Game and Wasteland 2, something seems to have gone wrong.  Luckily studio head Chris Allen has seen the error of his ways.

Kinect Star Wars is arriving soon so enjoy this fake family playing the game

Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to the Kinect Star Wars Launch Trailer

The jury is still out on whether Kinect Star Wars is going to be the Star Wars game we have all been waiting for.  This Xbox 360 Kinect exclusive is out on the 4th April and has been well hyped.  One element of hype that has certainly stuck in my Rancor's craw is the sterile preview trailers that have fake families 'enjoying' the game.  Not one to change tack, LucasArts have produced a launch trailer with an all new fake family trying out lightsabers, the force and being a Rancor.  Strangely absent are any Stormtroopers dancing to the Y.M.C.A., what are they trying to hide?  Check out Read More for the launch trailer and may the farce be with you.

Shoot Many Robots May Get Twin-Stick Controls

The gamers have spoken, and the fine folks at Demiurge Studios have listened. Well, sort of. It appears that many gamers had a hard time getting used to the single-stick controls in Shoot Many Robots. No smart developer wants to limit their game's accessibility, so Demiurge may be adding twin-stick controls to their side-scrolling shooter. Their solution? They're going to have a good old fashioned Stick-Off.  Wait, that doesn't sound right. I'll let them explain:
