Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's first major content pack is upon us and with it comes two brand new cooperative missions. We went through the original Spec-Ops missions extensively and for the most part, these are some of the best Call of Duty set pieces to date, especially since they are meant to be experienced with a buddy. On top of these there's a handful of new maps for Modern Warfare 3's survival mode.
It's only been a few weeks since we've seen the best trailer in videogames this year. Borderlands 2 looks to be bigger, better and more badass than the original in many ways. The Playstation Portable Phantasy Star Portable games were pretty great, but multiplayer was restricted to local wireless, making it difficult for most of us to enjoy co-op questing together. Besides, they were based on Phantasy Star Universe, and everybody who's anybody likes the original Phantasy Star Online better. Good news for the cool kids then, because not only is SEGA making a real Phantasy Star Online 2, but it's coming to the Playstation Vita!

Mass Effect 3 was released last week on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The game concludes the epic trilogy of Commander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy...or does it? New to the game is a four player co-op mode which actually has an effect on your single player campaign. "KickStarting" is all the rage these days in game development. It's the idea that you can connect directly to your potential customers while a product is in it's earliest phases of design and conception. These users invest in your project, which in turn, you use the money to fund creation. As an incentive, you give these people perks, much like people who buy collector's editions of games get, but on a whole new level.
