Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is getting a new map pack today called the Flashback Map Pack #2. While this content update won't contain any new co-op modes like the last DLC, it will contain a bunch of remastered maps from Uncharted 2 playable in both competitive and co-op survival gameplay. The maps - Plaza, Temple, Train Wreck, and Village - have all-new dynamic lighting effects, innovative particle effects and tons of other fresh technical polish thanks to the Uncharted 3 engine.
SPACE: The final frontier. These are the voyages of Saints Row: The Third. Its mission: To explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no gangsta has gone before. The latest mission based DLC for Saints Row: The Third blasts off today in the form of 'Gangstas in Space', priced at $6.99, or free for season pass holders.
Humans versus dinosaurs co-op games are almost as rare as real, live dinosaurs. There's Capcom's arcade classic Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and the most recent, slightly disappointing Turok, and that's it. That will change next month when indie developer Spiral Game Studios releases Orion: Dino Beatdown for PC. Up to 5 human players will be able to take on hoardes of terrible lizards in this fast-paced first-person shooter. Did I mention our side gets jetpacks and vehicles too?
After a long time waiting, Civilization V fans will soon have their patience rewarded in the form of the “Gods & Kings” expansion scheduled for release this Spring.
A lot of gamers dream about the day they can create their own game. They are simply brimming with ideas for the next form of interactive entertainment, but the technical hurdle of actually programming can seem insurmountable. A new game by Primer Labs aims to change that by combining the act of gaming with the art of programming; it's called Code Hero.

The CGI trailer has been one of the basic gaming PR tools for years. They may not contain any real game footage, but they sure can increase the heat on a property. Mass Effect 3 has seen plenty of in game trailers and even has a demo that you can try out; but a new CGI trailer full of epic goodness is still needed. Bioware have answered these calls in the new Take Earth Back trailer and it is immense.
Age of Empires Online is a freemium multiplayer RTS game. While the game is free to download and play, access to additional empires and content requires the purchase of various expansions. Now the prices of said premium content have been cut in half, making it much easier to experience everything AOE Online has to offer (and get most of the game's Achievements). Additionally, the duration of Season Passes has been extended a full year to August 15, 2013 to make up for the new pricing structure.
We first learned that Total War: Shogun 2 would be receiving a standalone expansion pack back in December. Now that expansion - Fall of the Samurai - has a concrete release date and a nice new trailer to go along with it. Fall of the Samurai officially lands on March 23.
Bad news (again), PC gamers. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron won't be coming to that fancy keyboard-and-mouse console known as the Personal Computer. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, since last fall we heard that the next Transformers game would be dropping the co-op campaign. Nevertheless, it's still disappointing to continually see PC gamers being left on the side of the road, and in this case the reasons are also alarming.
