Drox Operative Details Come into Focus in Latest Interview

Din's Curse was a completely underrated Action/RPG on the PC.  With near infinte amount of players and some truly dynamic core systems, we couldn't help but give it a 4 out of 5 in our review.  The two man development crew of it, Soldak Entertainment, is back with new game.  Like Din's Curse it's an Action/RPG - unlike it though it's all about space and ship to ship combat.  The game is called Drox Operative and we're quite excited about the co-op possibilities of this one.

Kung-Fu Strike Sweep Kicking its Way to XBLA

There is a Chinese proverb that goes along the lines of this: "Never admire a man by his strength; judge him in how he uses it." This saying seems to lie at the core of Qooc Soft's and 7sixty's recently announced co-op beat 'em up title for the XBLA, Kung-Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise. Mixing up equal parts 3D brawler (seemingly in the vein of the Dynasty Warriors series) with a brush art style that is reminiscent of the most recent Street FighterKung-Fu Strike certainly seems to be shaping up to be a solid co-op release title. Little is known at this point, though, about the game beyond its setting, core gameplay mechanics, and that it will support 2 player local co-op (possibly campaign). With a release date of "early this year," this announcement trailer and handful of screen caps will have to slake your thirst for martial arts mayhem until more details arise.

Industrial Espionage with Guns; the Syndicate Launch Trailer

Hacking into emails and rooting through bins are boring forms of industrial espionage. In the 2069 future of Syndicate, espionage takes the form of weapons and the ability to enter people's minds. Where do I sign up? Syndicate is out February 21st in the US and February 24th in the EU. To celebrate Starbreeze have produced a launch trailer. Lucky for you, there is no need to break into their servers to get it, as Co-Optimus provides it after Read More.

Little Big Planet 2 Co-Op Night - February 18th

Little Big Planet 2 is one of the few games that makes me a bit jealous of PS3 owners. That game looks awesome! This Saturday, February 18th at 8PM Central, I'm going to be even more jealous, because I'll be missing out on a Little Big Planet 2 co-op night. If you own a PS3 and Little Big Planet 2, you're invited to join! Unfortunately, I won't be making it, unless the Co-Optimus community surprises me with a PS3 and a copy of the game before Saturday. No? Dang. It was worth a shot.

This Won't be the Last Trailer for The Last Story

Most multiplayer afficionados have moved on from the Wii by now in favor of the greener pastures of Xbox Live and PSN. But the Wii does have quite a co-op card up its sleeve in the form of Mistwalker's Final Fantasy, I mean, The Last Story, which debuts later this year. A new pre-launch trailer showcases the action-RPG's impressive gameplay and graphics.

Killing Floor Mid-week Sale Celebrates a Million Copies Sold

Killing Floor is a popular, low-cost alternative to the Left 4 Dead series. Its 6 player online co-op and addictive character leveling system more than compensates for the absolutely haphazard character and monster design. The Steam game goes on sale constantly, which has helped it reach its millionth sale recently. And what better way to celebrate than another big sale?

Tabletop Co-Op: Sentinels of the Multiverse

It's time once again to put down the controller and move to the dining room for some Tabletop Co-Op. This month, we're donning our tights and capes for some card slinging fun. Grab some super friends and form the ultimate team to take on the opponents of truth, justice, and the American way. Unless you're Canadian, or Japanese, or.. well, maybe everyone should just fight for truth and justice. Sling some cards, co-op style, in Sentinels of the Multiverse.

Twisted Metal Gets "Tainted" Launch Trailer, Drops Online Co-Op

I know that many of you were preoccupied with your true love yesterday (the Mass Effect 3 demo), so you may have missed the return of the Twisted Metal franchise.  I was able to spurn Commander Shepard's advances long enough to get some quality time in with the car combat title.  After looking over the game's many multiplayer modes I realized I didn't have a clue as to how to set up an online co-op campaign match.  I knew the game supported online co-op, TM head honcho David Jaffe told me so (via Game Informer).  I sure as hell wasn't going to consult the manual, so I sought help from the almighty Google.
