The finale of the Alien Breed trilogy has made its way to the PlayStation 3. Alien Breed 3: Descent is available for download on the PSN. The game follows the exploits of Chief Engineer Theordore Conrad as he battles alien swarms on his beleaguered vessel, the Leopold. The game feature co-op specific content where you and a friend can team up locally or online to battle through three different maps.
Mark September 20th on your calendars, chainsaw fans. That's when Gears of War 3 will be hitting store shelves. If you remember correctly, Gears 2 ended with Marcus and Co. killing a bunch of fabulously glowing Locusts. The conclusion of Fenix family fun time will have more guts, more guns, more glory, and more controversy. Remember, the fairer sex is in the combat mix now. That means plenty of fee advertising on cable news the second an image of Anya or Sam taking a Lancer to the face gets leaked. I'm guessing sometime around August.
We've gotten wind of more details on the upcoming 4 player co-op Rachet and Clank game, Rachet and Clank All 4 One. Eurogamer had a chance to demo the game and their writeup contained some great co-op information.
With hopes of Diablo 3 finally gracing our PCs (and sometime maybe consoles) this year - Kotaku has obtained an exclusive look at the game from a build back in 2005. The dozen or so screen shots of an early version of the game show three environments: Keep, Angelic Lands and Heaven. It seems the player would be entering a more pristine looking area (devoid of rainbows) and might run into some familiar faces, with an appearance by Tyrael in one of the screens.

I've heard a rumor - somewhere on the internet - that the folks at Co-Optimus actually enjoyed Saints Row 2. Ridiculous humor and solid controls overshadowed its terribly implausible premise.
