There are defining moments in any co-op player's life and one of those for this humble writer is the awesome Super Nintendo game Secret of Mana. Imagine taking the best Final Fantasy games from the 16 bit era, splicing in a good amount of A Link to the Past and then adding 3 player co-op! Now Nintendo Switch players can relive my joy, but so far only those from Japan.
At PAX East, I had the very pleasant experience of an in-depth interview with Howard Tsao, the Team Lead for Guns of Icarus: Alliance (henceforth, Alliance). We discussed everything Alliance has to offer players as well as the trials and tribulations of developing Guns of Icarus and its ambitious expansion.
At long last, PlayStation 4 users can experience man's greatest achievement: sending goats to space. Soon, they can bounce their virtual hooves around in low-grav environments, eat space trash, and just experience the things that typically happen when you put goats in atmospheres without oxygen.

Well, you could spend the rest of your days contemplating the meaning of life and death in the context of your murder-career, or you could wait patiently until more bad guys inevitably crop up.
Early on in Halo Wars 2, I kept getting the feeling that I had lived this all before in an almost dream-like way. I played through campaign mission after mission, trying to shake the feeling and find my 'Ah-ha!' moment that would set the game apart, letting me tell my friends and associates of the special moments I wanted to share with...
At PAX East last weekend, I went hands-on with asymmetrical stealth co-op game Hacktag. Created by Piece of Cake Studios (a studio completely dedicated to making co-op games and composed of industry vets), Hacktag impressed. My time with the game left me wanting to play and improve more.
As the prophecies foretold, Ghost Recon Wildlands continues to be the topic of discussion this weekend. We just can't seem to get those cartels and their wacky leaders out of our heads. Here's hoping our carefully planned takedowns go hilariously awry.
Gather one, gather all. This is what co-op gaming used to be like, as many as eight players all crammed around a multi-tap and 4:3 television. X-Morph: Defense may not have eight player local co-op, but the new teaser trailer for the game shows off some old school 2 player split screen gameplay.
According to the official JanduSoft website, their Kickstarter campaign for Cavemen Warriors was successful, meaning the game will move forward towards its planned Spring 2017 release date.
